Cache Valley Transit Route Change Proposal
CVTD ROUTE CHANGES
The Cache Valley Transit District is modifying Routes 6, 7, 8, 9 and would like your input on the proposed changes. For background and more details about these changes, check out the information below. If you want to skip the survey, use the button below.

Purpose of the Changes:
1. Increase route safety
2. Improve reliability for connections at the transit center
3. Increase access to areas of new development
4. Maintain 3 to 4 block stop standard within urban core service area
5. Implement changes based on previous feedback from passengers and observations from CVTD employees
1. Increase Route Safety
• Avoid busiest streets near the fairgrounds while maintaining service to key destinations
• Move stops on 600 S to same side of street as Woodruff Elementary
2. Improve Reliability for Connections at the Transit Center
• Improve reliability during events at the fairgrounds
• Put Route 6 on higher speed roads
• Move Route 7 off main street to 100 W with less traffic lights
• Shorten Route 8
3. Increased Access to Areas of New Development
• Add coverage to 200 N and Meadows Apartments
• Provide a stop at Willow Park and Zootah
4. Maintain 3 to 4 Block Stop Standard Within Urban Core Service Area
5. Implement Changes Based on Previous Feedback
• Implemented feedback from passengers
• Apply feedback from employees based on observations and identified safety concerns
The implementation date for the route changes is August 5.
